Family Members.

American Green card lottery applicants must include their family members like spouse and eligible children in their online E-DV entry form.

There is no need to be a married person to participate in the US green card lottery. If you are a single person apply your entry as a single person.

If you are married to more than one spouse, the American Green card lottery will not allow you to participate in the lottery according to the American laws. Eligible children mean those children who are under the age of 21 and not married. You must include all your eligible children even if they are not living with you or not intended to travel with you to the USA. You own children, your previous marriage children, your spouse children including those step children who are legally adopted by you. Those children who are American citizen or American LPR holders are not to be included in the green card lottery program.

Your parents or brothers or sisters are not to be included as family members in the Green card Lottery application form. Failure to include the eligible members in the Green card lottery application form is a violation of the law. If they find out it any time that you didn't include your eligible family members in the application form, you will be refused of the Immigrant visa.
